The opening ceremony began with a lion dance drum performance, followed by an impressive jewelry show performed by the beautiful sales staff from Saigon Jewelry Company Limited (SJC), which was the highlight of this year's opening event. Each piece of jewelry was meticulously and intricately designed, with meaningful and inspiring names for the audience such as: Song Phung, Dance of Flowers, Autumn Butterfly, Garden of Love, Spring Love, Love Rain, Pisces, Spring Colors, Sea Flowers, Sunlight Drops, and more. This year's show received much attention and applause from the guests at the ceremony as well as the visitors present at the fair. Additionally, there were other performances that made the atmosphere of the event even more lively and exciting.

This year's fair featured the participation of over 180 booths showcasing jewelry, gemstones, and jewelry industry machinery and equipment from well-known domestic and international brands. The number of booths has increased each year, with the SJC booth being particularly well-prepared, highly professional, and attracting many domestic and international visitors.

The VIJF 2022 opening ceremony was attended by distinguished guests from: Ho Chi Minh City officials, representatives of the World Gold Council in Vietnam, the Vietnam Gold Business Association, the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts and Jewelry Association, along with the presence of domestic and international gold and jewelry enterprises and reporters from various media agencies.

The Vietnam International Jewelry Fair (VIJF) 2022 was held over five days from November 10, 2022, to November 14, 2022, at the Phu Tho Sports Hall. Visitors could shop from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily.
