Ash Content

The third factor is the ash content, which is related to the second factor. After burning, Resin leaves ash inside the plaster mold. In the case of wax, it completely melts away without leaving any residue, but Resin leaves ash. In the industry, the less ash left behind in the mold, the better the quality of the cast piece.
