Rhodium J1-4g

Bright white rhodium plating solution.
The coating thickness can reach 0.3 – 0.5 µm.

1. OPERATING CONDITIONS:

• Rh concentration: 2 g/L

• Concentrated H₂SO₄: Increases over time during use (adjusted by regeneration)

• pH: < 1

• Plating temperature: 20 – 40°C

• Current density: 1 A/dm²

• Deposition rate: 0.025 µm

• Hardness: 800 – 900 HV

• Solution specific gravity: Increases with use (after regeneration)

• Agitation: 5 – 10 cm/second

• Voltage: 2 – 3 V

• Current efficiency: 15%

• Plating time: Minimum 2 minutes

2. EQUIPMENT USED:

• Plating tank: PVC tank

• Heater: Glass-sheathed heating element

• Anode: Platinum-coated titanium mesh
